How Do I Book a Bin?

Although we talk in cubic metres, we understand how measurements are not always intuitive. Our friendly and experienced staff are trained to help you estimate which size of bin will suit your job. With our years of experience, we can help you.

How Much Notice is Needed to Book a Bin?

We can usually deliver your bin on the same day if you ring by about 10 am. It is always best to book as early as possible to avoid scheduling conflicts. It is generally advisable to give us 24 to 48-hour notice to ensure that you get your bin when you want it.

What Size Do I Need?

Although we refer to our bin sizes in cubic metres, we understand that it might be a bit of a strange reference to others. Our friendly and experienced staff are trained to help you estimate which size of bin will suit your job. With our years of experience, we can help you find exactly what you need.

What Can and Can't Go in the Bin?

We accept most forms of rubbish, so it is easier to list the items that we won't take. We will not accept asbestos in any form, contaminated soil, food scraps, large tree stumps, liquids, oils or paints. Tyres and mattresses are acceptable, however, they incur additional costs. For information about our current charges, please speak with one of our friendly staff members.

Can I Put a Mixed Load in the Bin?

Yes, you are allowed to put mixed loads in our bins. However, please note that extra charges may apply depending on what the mixed loads contain. Simply mention this to our friendly team when you book your bin to avoid any difficulties later.

How High Can I Load the Bins?

Bins must be filled to level sides of the bin. Due to road safety regulations, we cannot carry bins that have been filled over the sides of the bin.

What Happens if I Overload the Bin?

We are not allowed to carry bins that have waste above the sides of the bins. Bins must be able to be tied down in a safe and secure manner. If the bin is overloaded, you will have the option to take the waste off the top so that the bin is level, or you can get another bin delivered at the standard price.

How Long Can I Keep the Bin For?

The standard hire period is three days. We may be able to arrange extra time for you if you ask us. However, during busy periods such as weekends or holidays, this may not be possible. Extra charges may also apply.

Do I Need a Council Permit?

Bins placed on the road or nature strip require council permit fees in most areas. We are accredited by most local councils and will obtain a permit on your behalf. Additional charges apply. As most councils have different rates, our staff will advise you of your individual council costs.

Do You Recycle My Waste?

Yes, we are committed to recycling. We are proud that we currently divert 70 percent (on average) of all our rubbish from landfill with our rubbish sorting program.

How Can I Pay for My Skip?

Payment can be made by cash, cheque or credit card and must be made on delivery of the skip bin. We accept both Visa and Mastercard.
